Golden Age Manor has been providing high-quality personalized care in Amery, Wisconsin over since 1959.The resident's care is under the direction of their own physician. Our excellent health care program includes dental, pharmacy and transportation services with in-house physical, occupational and speech therapies.
Golden Age Manor is Medicaid and Medicare certified.
Our Facility
Our facility has 85 private and semi-private beds. Of the 85 beds, 17 have been designated to a special Alzheimer's care unit known as Judy's Cottage. We offer 6 private Medicare Suites with private bathrooms. These Medicare Suites are designed for patients who need short term rehabilitation before heading home after the effects of injury, illness or surgery.
History of Golden Age Manor
A unanimous vote by the Polk County Board of Supervisors led to the construction of our facility. At a special County Board session, Amery was chosen as the site for Golden Age Manor. Golden Age Manor opened April 30, 1959, as a skilled and intermediate nursing care facility. Since the original 76 beds, the facility has had 3 additions and now has 85 private and semi-private beds.
